1 – Wander around and discover Lake Jaunay
This protected natural area of 114 hectare hosts a walking network with 6 different routes (including a tour around the lake). With the most beautiful sights you can enjoy a stroll along the banks of the lake and take a break on one of the many picknick areas. For those who enjoy sports, the camp site owner Pierre invites you to a 10k run or a mountainbike tour of 35k by the lake every week !

2 – Discover the environment in a fun and educa tive way: Geocaching
You can discover geocaching with friends or family. It’s basically the modern version of a treasure hunt! This original outdoor activity enables you to (re)discover the lake in a fun way. More information on geocaching is available throughout the year in the Tourism Office in La Mothe Achard.

3 – Watersports on Lake Jaunay
The banks of Lake Jaunay are altered to fit the needs of those who would like to go windsurfing, or rent a canoe or waterbike.

4 – Fishing
Lake Jaunay is a great place for those who love to go fishing.
You will find the following kinds of fish:
• Garfish
• Pike-perch
• Roach
• Carp
• Tench
• Bream
• Bass

5 – Visiting the beach
Plage des Dunes in Brétignolles sur Mer
3,2km of sandy beaches, perfect for a dive into the ocean – supervised during July and August. There are indicated zones for (kite)surfing, separated from swimming zones.

Plage de la Normandelière:
The Plage de la Normandelière is a protected area close to all of the needed facilities.
Good to know: This beach is equipped with an adapted wheelchair that enables disabled people to swim in the sea. In terms of watersports this beach is very suitable for catamarans, windsurfing, kayak and sailing.

Plage de la Sauzaie :
Beach with wild nature and a rocky coast. At high tide this is one of the best places to go surfing in the Vendée region – This beach is also home to the Vendée Surf Pro contest. At low tide a sandy beach appears that is very suitable for swimming in the ocean.

6 – Relax in our wellness center
Need a break? Allow yourself a moment of relaxation and discover our wellness centre. You can book the spa for a certain amount of time and have it to yourself with your partner, family and/or friends. There is a sauna, Jacuzzi and hammam available. For even more relaxation you can book a massage or treatment with our aesthetician.

7 – Life between animals
Many animals have found their home on our camp site of 30 hectare. The kid scan always come visit the farm animals that live on the camp site all year round: goats, doves, peacocks, donkeys, llama’s and rabbits. Children can also come to cuddle and take care of our poneys at the Poney Club, where you can also book rides around the camp site.

8 – Parks and gardens to discover
The Potager Extraordinaire in La Mothe Achard, is a botanical garden home to plant species from everywhere in the world are to be found. Exotical vegetables, aromatic plants, flowers… Wander around the garden and find more than 1500 species, rare and very interesting!

9 – Dive into our swimming pool
From the beginning of the season you can enjoy our on-site waterpark: Indoor- and outdoor pool (both heated), lazy river and children’s pool.

To enjoy the sunshine and have some rest there are plenty of sunbeds around the pool, and you can even enjoy a cocktail pool side at our outdoor bar!

10 – Comfortably camping in nature
The newest trend in camping: Glamping! Camp site Village de la Guyonnière offers multible Glamping possibilities on site where you can spend your holidays in a natural environment with all the calm and comfort you need!
