Bretignolles sur Mer – distance between 11 and 14 km
- Plages des Dunes : Guarded (2 stations), an outstretched sandy beach, waves and watersports.
- Plage de la Sauzaie : guarded, wild beach, rocky shore, creeks, a popular spot for surfers.
- Plage de La Parée : guarded, family beach, ideal for swimming
- Plage de Marais Girard : family playground
- Plage de la Normandelière : sandy beach
Saint Gilles Croix de Vie – distance 20 km
- Plage de Boisvinet : Guarded, facing south, diving possible high tide. Showers and toilets available. Between the coastal road and the entrance of the port.
- La Grande Plage : Guarded, 3,6 km long, situated near the dunes, small boulevard with terraces, cafes, restaurants… foothpaths are delimited with a rope.
Olonne sur Mer – distance 22 km
- Plage de Sauveterre : Guarded over a length of 300 m. Hidden in the middle of the forest, wild shoreline.
Les Sables d’Olonne – distance 25 km
- La Grande Plage : Guarded. One of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Europe, in a half round bay, sheltered from the wind. There is a grand boulevard full of shops, ice cream parlors, terraces and restaurants. Quite busy in the high season ! Not much space at high tide.
- Plage de la Paracou : Situated at the wild coastline of La Chaume, close to the dunes and the forest. Quiet and natural. Appreciated a lot by fishermen on foot. There’s also a bike path.
Le Chauteau d’Olonne – distance 25 km
- Plage de Tanchet : Situated at the South end of the large bay of Sables d’Olonne
Saint Jean de Mont – distance 35 km
- Plage des Demoiselles : Guarded (1 station), in the south of the Vendée, between St Jean de Mont and St Hilaire de Riez. Sanitary facilities available, free parking, fishing possible.
- La Grande Plage : Guarded, beautiful sandy beach with footh paths in the near area.
- Plage de la Davière and Plage de la Parée du Jonc : in the shelter of the dunes, free parking, direction Notre Dame de Mont
Talmont St Hilaire – distance 35-40 km
- Plage du Veillon : Sandy beach, surrounded by high dunes, pine forest and cliffs. With foothpaths to get to Port Bourgenay, very nice walking routes.
Longeville sut Mer – distance 45-50 km
- Plage du Petit Rocher : guarded, sandy beach, some pebbles. Parking is possible close to the beach.
- Plage des Conches : guarded, sandy beach, known for its waves.
